The QE2 This is our house nestling beneath the Forth Rail Bridge
The village was formed in approximately 1046 by the Abbot of Dunfermline for the purpose of ferrying Queen Margaret across the Forth on her way to Edinburgh via St. Edward's Bay. Apart from lots of history the village has lovely restaurants dating back to 1750, and many more attractions nearby for golfers "The Kingdom of Fife Golf Trail".

Deep sea world in village and 2 restaurants, one with Michelin stars and a pub. 15 mins by train into Edinburgh
There is the Fife coastal path for keen walkers and cyclists, fly fishing, famous lochs and distilleries, while only 12 minutes by train crossing our famous Forth Rail Bridge is Edinburgh with our historic Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street and our Rugby International Ground "Murrayfield" and "Edinburgh and Lothian's Golf Trail"
