Dalwhinnie bed and breakfast is a modern waterside home with en suite facilities, situated in the picturesque village of North Queensferry. We are on the shore of the Firth of Forth; looking towards Edinburgh & the Lothians, Fife and onwards to the North Sea,

From our lounge and outside deck you can watch sailing boats and ships pass by. During the summer there are a number of Ocean Cruisers that sail by or lay anchor in the Firth. We have seen at one time or another the Princess Line cruise ships, other liners and the magnificent Queen Mary 2.

 

It's a great place to bird watch, if you're lucky you'll see puffins, skuas, fulmars, or megansers and wee families of ducks

 

Or you can just sit and chill.

 

Our B&B has ample parking and is ideally placed for visiting Edinburgh, there is a train station in North Queensferry that goes directly to the City Centre over the world famous Forth Rail Bridge. We are also just 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre by car, (Crossing the Forth via the Forth Road Bridge). We are also well placed for visiting Fife and Central Scotland.
